Breast Cancer Division

Finding a breast abnormality is a stressful event in any woman’s life. At Surgical Associates, PC we are here to support you from initial detection, to surveillance, to surgery, and anywhere in between. Breast abnormalities can be detected in many ways. The most common sources of detection are mammography and self exams. If the physician does not find a mass that he or she believes to be of concern, a repeat exam may be recommended at a variety of time intervals. If the mass or lesion is suggestive of possible concern our physician may order further radiologic studies, for example, a breast ultrasound. All of our breast care team members are dedicated to the safest and most complete diagnosis possible. Based on all previous studies, further tests or biopsies may be recommended to better understand your unique health care needs.

I came with an inflamed gallbladder, and Dr. Hung helped me process different options for treatment. I ultimately decided on a cholecystectomy and I am feeling much better.

From the very first visit at the office, to admitting for surgery, through surgery and follow up visit, all aspects get a 10!!! Can’t remember the last time I was treated so professionally. The Staff was outstanding. Thank you very much.

Dr. Tabatabai was wonderful in treating my husband for a hiatal hernia. He was very compassionate, kind, explained the situation and what he could do to repair it. Would recommend him for any type of surgery that he specializes in. You are in good hands!

Dr. Hung removed my faulty gallbladder recently and I am so glad that my PCP referred me to him! He is very kind, well-informed, and he relays information in a way that is easily digestible. He is also very patient and answers every question in full detail to ensure you get the information you are seeking. He was very thorough in the follow up and overall, I am very happy with my experience. I was not enthused about the idea of getting my gallbladder out at 26 (thanks, genetics!) but he made me feel comfortable with the procedure and, ultimately, I am SO glad that I went through with it. I feel like a million bucks now! Thanks to Dr. Hung and all of the great staff who made my experience so positive.

Dr. Tabatabai surgically repaired my umbilical hernia – it’s very nice to have a “regular” belly button again! From the first time we met, I realized he’s a friendly, caring person, and he explained what he would do so I was clear what would happen during the surgery. The surgery went smoothly and I am happy with the results. At the follow-up a few weeks after the surgery, it was clear things healed up well and that I could get back to normal activities. Everyone I met at Surgical Associates has been friendly and easy to deal with, yet professional, and I would have Dr. Tabatabai do future surgery on me in a heartbeat.

Love! LOVE!! LOVE DR. HUNG!!! Talk about person-centered care!!!! My GP referred me to Dr. Hung for acute issues with my gallbladder. Dr. Hung and his nurse Lisa were both absolutely awesome!! They are kind, caring, intelligent, skilled, and wonderful human beings!! Dr. Hung listened and gave special attention to my personal concerns. I'm the person odd things seem to happen to, and in surgery, even before removing my gallbladder, Dr. Hung identified and successfully treated a second, very rare, potentially life-threatening medical condition that no tests ordered by 5 previous physicians had identified. I was back home a few hours later, on my feet a few days later, and able to celebrate Christmas with family rather than ending up in the hospital possibly fighting for my life. Dr. Hung, you gave me the best gift ever--health and more time with my girls! Thank you!!!!
