COVID19 Information

COVID19

Our hearts go out to those impacted by COVID-19.

We know many families and communities have been affected by this terrible pandemic. Surgical Associates, PC is constantly monitoring the COVID-19 situation, and our highest priority remains the safety of our patients, employees, and community.

Our clinic is open and our office hours have not changed. Our goal is to continue to provide excellent urgent and emergency surgical care through the COVID-19 crisis. While operating rooms are closed to elective operations, we will continue to assess and counsel patients for their elective surgery needs. We stand ready to resume the highest quality elective surgical care as soon as it is deemed safe and appropriate to do so.

Precautions

We will continue to see new and established patients with a number of precautions outlined below, with the goals of slowing the spread of illness, preserving healthcare resources and maximizing patient and staff safety.

Patients will be asked to defer an appointment or an elective operation IF the delay will not adversely impact their health or their condition.

Only one support person will be allowed to accompany a patient into the office.

Patients who have a cough, shortness of breath, flu-like symptoms or a fever of 100.4 or greater must call the office in

Patients who have a cough, shortness of breath, flu-like symptoms or a fever of 100.4 or greater must call the office in advance, so accommodations can be made to provide care. Those patients will enter and exit the office through a separate door.

Patients who are uncomfortable waiting in our waiting room should call from the parking lot and wait in the car until a provider is ready to see them.

Our team is working very hard to ensure patients get the care they need, when they need it. Thank you for your patience during this time of uncertainty.
