Dr. Norris Bio

As a Nebraska native, Dr. Norris graduated from Wymore Southern High School and went on to attend the University of Nebraska- Lincoln to receive his Bachelors of Science. He then continued his medical training at the University Of Nebraska College Of Medicine. Dr. Norris spent time in Kalamazoo, Michigan while completing his internship and residency programs. He maintains his knowledge and expertise by participating in many organizations including the Lancaster County Medical Society, the American Society of Abdominal Surgeons, and the Society of Laparoscopic Surgeons. He is currently a member of the Board of Directors for the Nebraska Surgery Center and the Community Blood Bank of Lincoln.

Dr. Norris established his practice in 1990, with expertise as a general surgeon. He is a provider with comprehensive and compassionate care, and specializes in all aspects of general and advanced laparoscopic surgery, including benign breast procedures and breast cancer surgeries, hernias, cholecystectomies, appendectomies, thyroidectomies, colon procedures, excisions and a variety of cancer treatment surgeries.

Dr. Norris enjoys time at home, traveling with his wife and spending time with their two children. His weekends are often spent in the garden or appreciating other fine art activities.
